As a huge fan of Stargate SG-1 I recently came across a service called Stargate Special Ops. Stargate SO is a community that is officially licensed by MGM. The SO has different missions for ways to promote the Stargate SO. Most of these missions involving gaining recruits for the site in exchange for "volts" which can be used to spend on exclusive Stargate merchandise which is either autographed or part of the sets/costumes used in the show.

To become eligible you have to be of the "age of the majority" in your state, what age your state considers you as an adult. Most states' ages of majority are normally 18 or 19 however some states consider you an adult at the age of 21. Along with being with your majority age you have to live in either Canada (excluding Quebec) or the United States. So for any European Stargate fans you're out of luck.

In this week's mission you have to make posts promoting the Stargate SO to get new recruits to join the free service. You get 500 volts for posting, but can make enough posts to earn 10,000 volts. I believe if you put in a refer name you get more volts (pssst if you plan on signing up put in the refer name hypeserver). Most missions have deadlines, normally within a week of their starting period. Most items you can exchange for volts cost 50,000-150,000 volts which can easily achieved depending on how many posts or how well you do for each mission.
